A great tip for families south of Munich is the BergTierPark Blindham. Visitors can experience red deer, wild boar, mouflons and old domestic animal breeds up close on 25 hectares in the middle of the Alpine foothills – with a wonderful panoramic view of the Alps.
Particularly child-friendly: the 2.2 km long nature adventure trail, the large petting zoo and the weatherproof SpielStadl with over 2,000 m² of play area, ideal even in bad weather.
How to get there: The park can be reached from the Stay2Munich Hotel in Brunnthal in approx. 20-25 minutes by car via the A8 (Hofolding exit). Free parking is available directly on site.

About 45 minutes south of Munich, Gut Aiderbichl offers a heart-warming encounter with rescued animals. Ponies, pigs, cows and goats live here in a species-appropriate environment.
